Join Chi-chi and members of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in this concert series featuring period trumpet and strings in all their glory. Featuring works from some of the greatest pioneers in music, including Bach, Biber and Vivaldi.
It’s also an opportunity to hear the deeply intoxicating Armonico Tributo, a piece that demonstrates Muffat’s merging of French and Italian style, an approach that would pave the way for the likes of Telemann, Handel, and Bach.
Members of OAE, including Chi-chi, will begin this two-week tour from January 10, 2014, starting in the Canary Islands, and ending in Pamplona, Spain on January 20, 2014.
